We recently purchased a new home, and decided to do a complete makeover of all areas that hadn't been updated when the condo was placed on the market. We needed to have most of the home painted so that we could expedite replacement of all the carpet prior to having our household goods delivered by the moving company. Obviously, time was of the essence.Phil came very highly recommended, and we were fortunate enough to heed that advice. We selected him to do the job, and have been more than completely satisfied by all aspects of his work: his price was very competitive, the finish of the paint was of the highest quality in all respects, and Phil's final inspection and cleanup were completely effective. Throughout the job, it was very evident to us that our complete satisfaction was Phil's first priority; at the same time, this did not prevent how much from completing the painting, including two coats in most areas and a couple of no-cost add-ons, within a much shorter time than we expected. He worked long days, plus a Saturday, and went as far as to clean the inside and outside of our skylight so that the area he had painted would look it's best. For his ethics, skills, conscientiousness, and attention to detail, I would not hesitate to recommend Phil to anyone in need of painting work.

We recently had our deck power washed and painted by Phil O'hara of dun rite painting, and we are more than pleased with the job he did for us. Our deck had been inexpertly painted, then roughly power washed, by the previous owners of our house, and we feared that it might be difficult, if not impossible to restore. Some paint was flaking off, some was stubbornly sticking, and the overall appearance was shabby. Phil's professional advice, along with his exce Phil is intelligent, honest, conscientious and dedicated individual lent skills, attention to detail, and years of experience paid off, and the result is a deck that looks practically brand new. Phil guarantees his work, so he is very careful about the prep work, the moisture content of the surface to be painted, and the weather conditions. This extra care shows in the finished product. He works efficiently and quickly, which is nice when your paying by the hour, yet he is careful and takes pride in his work. We would like to take this opportunity to share with you our experience with Phil O'hara, dun rite painting. We have done business with Northwood paint on south airport road in the past and regard their knowledge of paint and painting products very highly. We became acquainted with Mr. O'hara through Northwood's recommendation. He came very highly recommended. Upon meeting Phil and Greg Martin from Northwood paints we went directly to our cottage where Mr. O'hara inspected the condition of our log siding and recommended that we have the stain redone. Phil was very complete in his evaluation of things and assured us of his skills that were needed, that he knew exactly what to do and told us how he would do each step. He was detailed about things in a way that gave us confidence that we were doing the right thing by hiring him. He was very knowledgeable about his trade, and his personality was easy to make him likable. Phil and I sat down and talked about the job and he drew up a contract, simple and easy to read. I asked Phil questions that were straightforward and to the point about things that concerned me, and he was great, and not offended by my questions. Phil started the job when the weather broke and we were fortunate that we had good weather in March. Ten days later our job was done, from power washing to caulking, to sanding, to staining. The job was beautiful and it was a pleasure to do business with Phil. I have never met a person more proud of the work they do or one who takes more pride in doing things right and going beyond the average expectations of the customer to please his clients.
